Eat Out To Help Out Scheme Will Run In August In UK For Participating Restaurants. Participating restaurants can sign up at a bespoke website launching next week. Restaurants will be reimbursed by UK government. Every UK consumer can access 50 percent off meals excluding alcoholic drinks. The scheme is designed to encourage UK consumers to return to eating out and protect jobs in the hospitality sector in the long run.
UK consumers can have as many meals out as they want Monday to Wednesday and get a 50 percent discount up to maximum of 10 pounds per person dining out. The UK government will cover half the cost of the meal up to ten pounds per person. Restaurants cafes and bars offering food can join the scheme.
