European Medicines Agency EMA said on 16th March 2021 that there is no indication that blood clot incidents in vaccinated people had been caused by the AstraZeneca vaccine. Their risk assessment is continuing but the EMA policy is that on the balance of probabilities you are significantly more likely to die from not been vaccinated than from being vaccinated.

The World Health Organisation WHO said on 16th March 2021 that there is no proven link between AstraZeneca vaccine and increased risk of blood clots.
